A solutions consultant, often Software Architect, or Technical Architect, provides support to solutions and development teams in determining approaches to using custom development and vendor provided software solutions and methods for effectively and efficiently integrating them to support the business needs of the organization. They develop technical specifications for use by development teams as well as solution architectures so the organization understands the portfolio of software used to support the business.
