The Goal of the Discover IT – Level Set activity is to have students explore Information Technology careers.  Students will work individually to create their own Discover IT Visualizer.  Their Discover IT Visualizer is a one-page representation of their understanding of Information Technology careers and how they see themselves in IT.

The Discover IT – Level Set activity is designed to be completed in one or two class periods.  A pre-activity homework assignment is also suggested.  The Discover IT Student Handout has instructions (and a rubric) to guide students through creating their personalized visualizer.

Completed Discover IT Visualizers can be uploaded by your students to win a class prize. Instructions for uploading Discover IT Visualizers are included in the Discover IT Level-Set Lesson Plan.
